Please note before applying, this position is Work from Home, however, the candidate needs to be local to Richmond, VA to go into Henrico Doctors Hosopital 1-3 times per week for meetings.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

The cancer conference coordinator is responsible for coordinating and documenting cancer conferences and tumor board meetings at their assigned facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor cancer conference mailbox to collect requests to present at cancer conference
Coordinate with Radiology, Pathology, Physicians and outside facilities to insure all patient records needed for conference are available
Support and collaboration with physician moderators, physician presenters and physician office staff
Prepare cancer conference documentation (agenda, minutes and attendance log)
Coordinate all audio-visual needs for the cancer conference
Coordinate all catering needs for cancer conferences
Responsible for taking of minutes during conference
Prepares, completes, and maintains Commission on Cancer conference/tumor board documentation. (Minutes, Survey Application Records, cancer conference summaries, & tumor board grids)
Attend each cancer conference - either in-person or remotely

Requirements:

High School Diploma (GED) – Required
Associate’s degree – Preferred
1-3 years of experience – Required
Healthcare experience – Preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel – Required
Organizational Skills – Required
Course work in and/or two years’ experience using medical terminology, Anatomy& Physiology, disease processes and treatment methods – Required
