Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a full time or part-time dedicated and skilled dentist to join our private and dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality general dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the whole treatment process. As a dentist, you will utilize your expertise to deliver exceptional dental care while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, crowns, bridges and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to provide optimal patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.

Skills

Proficient in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge essential for effective diagnosis and treatment.
Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Dentrix for managing patient information.
Strong understanding of medical records management practices to ensure accurate documentation.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with patients.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of patient interaction.
Ability to perform dental extractions competently while ensuring patient comfort.
