Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Escrow Officer, where you will play a vital role in facilitating smooth and accurate real estate transactions. Your expertise will ensure that all escrow processes are handled efficiently, compliantly, and with exceptional attention to detail. This position offers an exciting opportunity supporting clients through the closing of their property deals while adhering to industry regulations and standards. Your proactive approach and thorough understanding of escrow procedures will help foster trust and satisfaction among our clients and partners.

Responsibilities

Open, manage and close residential and/or commercial escrow transactions from receipt of contract through recording of documents and disbursement of funds.
Review purchase contracts, lender instructions, HOA documents and title commitments to identify requirements and conditions.
Coordinate with title examiners, underwriters and lenders to clear title issues and satisfy closing conditions.
Prepare Closing Disclosures (CD), HUD-1 Settlement Statements and all required closing documents in accordance with TRID/RESPA guidelines and underwriting conditions.
Conduct closings in person, via mobile notary or remotely using RON (Remote Online Notarization) platforms as authorized by Texas law.
Maintain escrow trust accounts in strict compliance with Texas Finance Code, Texas Insurance Code and TDI requirements.
Receive, verify and disburse escrow funds accurately and timely, including wires, checks and ACH transactions.
Adhere to all CFPB, FinCEN and anti-money laundering (AML) policies and procedures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all parties throughout the escrow process.
Proactively communicate closing status, outstanding requirements and funding timelines.
Respond to inquiries from buyers, sellers, agents and lenders in a professional and timely manner.
Resolve closing-related issues and escalate complex matters to management as needed.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
