Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster a positive team environment, and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about food, hospitality, and team management to make a significant impact in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely food preparation in line with quality standards
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
Supervise food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and safety protocols
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
Utilize POS systems such as Toast for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
Conduct shift management duties including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and addressing operational issues promptly

Skills

Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food and casual dining restaurant environments
Proven leadership skills with experience supervising all kitchen positions.
Strong knowledge of inventory control, food safety management, and food industry best practices
Familiarity with POS systems including Toast POS and extraCHEF inventory management for efficient transaction processing
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
Ability to manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures
Experience in staff training, interviewing potential team members, and fostering a positive team environment
Background in fine dining or casual dining settings is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
Knowledge of food production processes including catering services and bar operations is advantageous
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
