Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst specializing in Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic financial decision-making by developing comprehensive financial models, analyzing variances, and interpreting financial statements. Your expertise will support organizational growth through accurate forecasting, budgeting, and insightful reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact financial initiatives within a fast-paced environment committed to excellence and innovation.

Duties

Develop and maintain robust financial projection models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Prepare detailed financial statements, including profit & loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and other regulatory requirements.
Conduct variance analysis reporting to identify deviations from budgets or forecasts, providing actionable insights for management.
Support corporate accounting functions by assisting with month-end closing activities, journal entries, and account analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting processes, cost accounting initiatives, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
Utilize business intelligence tools and financial reporting software to generate comprehensive reports that inform executive decisions.
Ensure adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and internal audit standards during all financial processes.
Perform data analysis using Excel data analysis techniques and other financial software to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Skills

Strong understanding of SOX compliance, IFRS standards, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Proven experience in financial sales analysis, corporate finance, and investment evaluation.
Expertise in financial model development, including forecasting analysis and scenario planning.
Proficiency in financial report writing, variance analysis reporting, and interpretation of financial statements.
Advanced data analysis skills utilizing Excel data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms.
Familiarity with accounting systems, financial software, and technical accounting principles.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of budgeting processes, cost accounting methods, and profit & loss management.
Effective communication skills for presenting complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
