Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiology Manager to oversee the radiology department within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical imaging and diagnostic radiology, with a focus on ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient departmental operations. This role is critical in managing the team of radiologic technologists and ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Duties

Supervise daily operations of the radiology department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain accreditation for medical imaging services.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care in diagnostic imaging procedures.
Oversee the implementation of new technologies and procedures, X-rays, and other imaging modalities.
Provide training and support to staff on aseptic techniques, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and emergency medicine protocols.
Conduct performance evaluations, facilitate professional development opportunities, and promote a positive work environment for all staff members.

Experience

A minimum of five years of experience in radiology or medical imaging, with at least two years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology and A.R.R.T. registered with a current license in the State of Texas.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology practices, including ER procedures and emergency medicine protocols.
Familiarity with various imaging technologies equipment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and medical professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
Must have current CPR certificate.
