Part-Time Clinical Supervisor
Remote – Texas
LCSW-S, LPC-S, LMFT/LMFT-S, or Licensed Psychologist

Crossland Counseling PLLC is a modern, fully virtual group practice seeking an experienced clinician to provide supervision and clinical oversight for provisionally licensed therapists in Texas.

This is a flexible, part-time supervisory opportunity with compensation provided per assigned supervisee. Maintaining a client caseload at Crossland Counseling is completely optional.

Position Overview

The Clinical Supervisor will support assigned provisionally licensed clinicians and serve as their supervisory provider through Headway. Responsibilities include regularly scheduled supervision, clinical consultation, and review and co-signature of clinical documentation.

The ideal candidate is supportive, approachable, clinically knowledgeable, and able to balance clinician development with ethical, documentation, and quality-of-care standards.

Responsibilities

Provide regularly scheduled individual or group supervision
Review and co-sign progress notes, intake documentation, and treatment plans through Headway
Provide consultation regarding diagnosis, treatment planning, risk assessment, mandated reporting, ethical concerns, and higher-acuity cases
Ensure supervisees’ documentation meets clinical, ethical, payer, and practice standards
Provide clear and constructive feedback when documentation requires correction
Support supervisees’ clinical judgment, professional development, and confidence
Maintain required supervision records when serving as the clinician’s formal board-approved supervisor
Communicate significant clinical, ethical, or compliance concerns to practice leadership
Complete documentation reviews and co-signatures in a timely manner

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Texas license as an LCSW-S, LPC-S, LMFT/LMFT-S, or Licensed Psychologist
Eligible and willing to serve as a supervisory provider through Headway
Texas board-approved supervisor designation strongly preferred
Active individual NPI
Current professional liability insurance
Complete and current CAQH profile
At least three years of independent clinical experience preferred
Experience supervising provisionally licensed clinicians preferred
Strong understanding of clinical documentation, treatment planning, risk assessment, ethics, and telehealth
Reliable communication and strong attention to detail
Ability to review and co-sign documentation within one to two business days
Warm, collaborative supervision style that supports both accountability and clinician growth

Compensation

$400 per month for each assigned supervisee
The monthly stipend includes regularly scheduled supervision, routine clinical consultation, review and co-signature of progress notes and treatment plans, and maintenance of required supervision records
Compensation begins when the assigned supervisee begins providing clinical services through the practice
No direct client caseload is required

Optional Clinical Caseload

Supervisors who are interested in providing therapy through Crossland Counseling may also have the option to maintain a separate clinical caseload. Client sessions are compensated separately under the practice’s clinician compensation structure.

Maintaining a caseload is entirely optional and is not a condition of the supervisory position.
