Endocrinology Physician Assistant — $115K+ Starting Salary

Capital Endocrine & Diabetes — Cedar Park, TX (Austin Area)

Capital Endocrine & Diabetes is a physician-owned outpatient endocrinology practice in Cedar Park, Texas, approximately 20 minutes from Austin. We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing team and help care for patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Endocrinology experience is not required for Physician Assistants with primary care experience. Structured training, physician mentorship, and a gradual transition into specialty care are provided.

Clinical Training and Professional Growth

Work directly with an experienced endocrinologist while developing advanced skills in diabetes management, thyroid disease, and other endocrine disorders.

Gain experience caring for patients who use continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, and modern diabetes therapies in a specialty-focused practice.

This position is ideal for a Physician Assistant interested in technology-driven diabetes care and developing long-term expertise in endocrinology.

Career Pathways

We offer three career tracks based on experience.

Track 1: Primary Care Experience — Transition to Endocrinology

For Physician Assistants with at least one year of outpatient experience in family medicine or internal medicine.

Starting salary: $115,000
Projected salary after Year 1: $125,000
Structured endocrinology training and direct physician mentorship

Track 2: New Graduate Physician Assistant

For new Physician Assistant graduates or candidates without prior outpatient primary care experience.

Year 1 compensation: $105,000
$85,000 paid through regular payroll
$20,000 completion bonus after one year
Year 2 salary: $115,000
Structured onboarding and gradual patient-volume ramp-up

Track 3: Experienced Endocrinology Physician Assistant

For Physician Assistants with at least one to two years of endocrinology experience.

Starting salary: $125,000+
Additional compensation potential based on productivity
