Associate Chiropractor | Leadership & Ownership TrackTaproot Chiropractic & Wellness | Bulverde, TX

$60,000–$80,000 Base Salary + Bonuses + Clear Path to Leadership & Ownership

Full-time preferred (5 days/week) | Four-day schedule considered for the right candidate

W-2 or Independent Contractor options available for the right candidate.

This is not just another associate position.

Taproot Chiropractic & Wellness is looking for a doctor who wants to become a long-term clinical leader and future owner within the largest chiropractic practice in the Bulverde/Spring Branch area.

Since opening in 2017, Taproot has grown into the area's largest chiropractic practice through exceptional patient care, strong systems, and a commitment to developing great doctors. We are a busy, primarily cash-based family practice where multiple doctors collaborate, co-treat when appropriate, and genuinely enjoy working together.

As the practice has grown, so has my vision.

While I still love taking care of patients, my passion has shifted toward mentoring doctors, growing the business, developing systems, and creating opportunities for future practice ownership. Over the coming years, I plan to gradually reduce my patient care hours and focus more on leading the organization.

Because of that, I am intentionally looking for someone who wants more than an associate position. I'm looking for someone who wants to become the long-term clinical leader of this practice and eventually have the opportunity to earn ownership within the organization.

Why This Opportunity Exists

I am currently scheduled to capacity and cannot accommodate all of the new patients who want to come into the practice.

You won't be walking into an empty schedule, but you also won't inherit a completely full one on day one. We have an established patient base, an excellent referral network, and more demand than I can personally meet. The right doctor will have the opportunity to build a busy schedule quickly by seeing new patients, developing their own patient base, and gradually assuming care for some of my existing patients as trust and leadership are established.

I'm looking for someone who is confident in their clinical abilities, enjoys staying busy, and is excited about stepping into an established practice rather than building one from scratch.

Our Practice

We are a primarily cash-based practice focused on chiropractic adjustments, muscle work, and select therapies. Our clinical model emphasizes excellent adjusting skills, efficient patient flow, and outstanding patient relationships. We are not a rehab-heavy office.

Current Services

Chiropractic adjustments
Dry needling (certified or willing to become certified shortly after hire)
Webster Technique (certified or willing to become certified shortly after hire)
Cranial adjusting (proficient required)
Class IV laser therapy
Spinal decompression
EMS/Ultrasound
Pettibon spinal rehabilitation

For the right doctor, we are open to expanding rehabilitation services or additional specialties that complement our practice philosophy.

Compensation & Benefits

$60,000–$80,000 base salary (depending on experience and schedule)
Performance bonuses beginning after the initial six-month onboarding period
Paid malpractice insurance
PTO after one year
Five-day schedule preferred; four-day schedule considered for the right candidate
Continuing education support for programs that align with the clinic's mission
W-2 or Independent Contractor options available for the right candidate
Leadership compensation, profit sharing, partnership, and ownership opportunities as you grow within the organization

We are also actively working toward qualifying opportunities through the Taproot Cares Foundation related to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program, which may create additional long-term value for the right candidate.

Doctors with approximately 1–3 years of experience may be an excellent fit, although all qualified candidates will be considered.
