Job title: QA Test Lead/QA/Test Manager

The role of the software test manager is to lead the testing team. Test Manager plays a central role in the Team. The Test Manager takes full responsibility for the project's success. The role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.Job SummaryThe QA Lead will provide overall leadership for quality assurance strategy, planning, execution, and governance for a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) SaaS implementation. This position requires strong experience in healthcare application testing, data migration validation, ETL testing, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) support, defect management, vendor coordination, and stakeholder reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure that EHR workflows, data conversion activities, SaaS configuration changes, interfaces, and vendor releases meet business, clinical, regulatory, audit, and project delivery standards.The QA Lead will work independently with minimal supervision while coordinating closely with program leadership, IT teams, vendors, and business users. This role will help ensure the solution meets functional requirements, data integrity standards, security and privacy regulations, and applicable compliance mandates.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall QA strategy, planning, and execution for the EHR SaaS implementation.Develop and maintain QA governance, testing approach, schedules, and resource plans.Serve as the primary QA point of contact for program leadership, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.Provide regular reporting on testing status, risks, metrics, and defects to project management and stakeholders.Ensure defects and issues are tracked, prioritized, resolved, retested, and validated before deployment.Lead validation testing for data migration and conversion from legacy EHR and ancillary systems. Validate patient, clinical, pharmacy, billing, and historical records for accuracy, completeness, and reconciliationReview and test ETL processes, data mapping documents, validation rules, and reconciliation reportsConduct pre-load and post-load validation, record counts, field-level verification, and exception analysis.Coordinate testing of interfaces, inbound/outbound data feeds, and downstream reporting impactsLead functional testing across EHR modules, including clinical, scheduling, orders, medications, documentation, and billing. Validate end-to-end workflows across user roles, including clinicians, nurses, pharmacy, registration, and administrative staff.Ensure workflows align with business, clinical, and regulatory requirementsExecute and oversee system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT supportEnsure SaaS configuration changes and vendor releases are fully testedPartner with business and clinical SMEs to prepare UAT scenarios and test casesSupport and guide UAT execution, defect triage, and sign-off activities. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test evidenceTrack defects and test execution using testing tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, ALM, Jira)Support manual and automated testing approaches where applicableEnsure documentation meets audit, compliance, and project delivery standards

Required skills:

11 years of experience in QA/Test Lead or QA/Test Manager roles
11 years Hands-on experience with data validation, data migration, and ETL testing.
11 years of Experience leading functional testing across EHR modules, including clinical, scheduling, orders, medications, documentation, and billing, with validation of end-to-end workflows across clinical and administrative roles.
11years Experience of leading validation testing for data migration and conversion from legacy EHR and ancillary systems, including validation of patient, clinical, pharmacy, billing, and historical records for of
11 years of Experience in ensuring SaaS configuration changes and vendor releases is fully tested
11 years Coordinating testing of interfaces, inbound/outbound data feeds, and downstream reporting impacts.
11 years of Creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test evidence.
11 years of Coordinating testing activities with vendors and multidisciplinary teams.
11 years of Proficiency with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM, or Jira.

Preferred skills:

6 years of Prior experience with EHR implementations (clinical, pharmacy, billing workflows)
6 years Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, CCD/A, ICD, and CPT, as applicable.
6 years Understanding of HIPAA, privacy, security, and government healthcare compliance requirements.
6 years of Experience supporting state or public sector healthcare systems

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
