Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee initial inpatient and residential admissions for mental health and substance abuse disorders for members
Review clinical information and determine appropriate levels of care
Coordinate with Case Managers and/or providers to help with treatment and discharge planning
Active on a telephonic queue, speaking with providers and members
Adapt to different processes with regulatory changes

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling; OR Licensed Ph.D.
Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of residence
2+ years of experience in behavioral health

Preferred Qualifications:

Inpatient or residential experience
Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse
Experience working in utilization management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Outlook, Internet)
