Senior Tax Accountant
MeredithCPAs / Meredith Vantage
Location: Irving (Las Colinas) | Hybrid
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + bonus

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who takes pride in doing things the right way. This is a hands-on role with real client exposure, not a back-office grinder position.

MeredithCPAs is a growing firm working with privately held companies, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals. Our focus is simple: do solid work, build long-term relationships, and avoid the burnout culture that’s become standard in public accounting.

If you’re strong technically, communicate well, and want more ownership without being buried, this is a good fit.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (S-corps, partnerships, C-corps)
Work on multi-entity and multi-state tax engagements
Support tax planning, projections, and advisory work
Communicate directly with clients and handle questions with confidence
Manage your own deadlines and workflow with minimal oversight
Assist in reviewing staff work and helping develop junior team members
Research and resolve tax issues with sound judgment

What You Bring

3–6 years of public accounting experience (heavy tax focus)
Strong experience with business returns and pass-through entities
Comfortable working directly with clients
Organized, consistent, and able to manage multiple engagements
CCH Axcess experience is a plus
CPA or CPA-track preferred
