Full Job Description

Overview

Join our team as the Director of Sales for Residence Inn Dallas Allen Fairview, this role is ideal for a proactive, relationship-driven sales leader who enjoys developing new business, growing existing accounts, and driving revenue through strategic sales efforts.

The Director of Sales will lead the hotel’s sales strategy with a strong focus on corporate, transient, extended-stay, group, and local business segments, while building lasting relationships with key accounts and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
Proactively prospect for new corporate, group, and transient business.
Conduct outside sales calls, client meetings, networking, and community outreach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and local businesses.
Identify new business opportunities and grow production from existing accounts.
Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
Utilize Delphi, Salesforce, and other CRM tools to manage leads, accounts, and sales activity.
Analyze market trends, sales performance, and competitive activity to identify opportunities.
Collaborate with hotel leadership and operations to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
Maintain a strong presence in the local market and actively represent the hotel within the business community.

Qualifications & Experience

Previous Marriott sales experience strongly preferred.
Proven hotel sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
Strong background in outside sales, prospecting, and account management.
Experience with corporate, transient, group, or extended-stay business preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience with Delphi, Salesforce, or other CRM platforms.
Knowledge of the Richardson/DFW market preferred.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
