Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a Certified Manager (CAM) to join our team. The CAM shall hold a valid CAM license and current on Continuing Education (CEU'S) that are pertinent to the operation of a community association. The CAM shall have charge of the administration of the Association's property under the direction of the Board. He/She shall have knowledge of personnel procedures and policies, hiring and training of personnel and the ability to motivate people as necessary. He/She shall have a solid general knowledge of business management and accepted business practices.

Duties

Oversee the record-keeping process and ensure records are maintained according to state and federal regulations.
General knowledge of insurance policies, insurance concepts and terms and the requirements for condominium documents regarding insurance.
Shall have basic accounting skills, budget planning and analysis and knowledge of financial reports. Knowledge of federal and state laws along with long term and short term financial planning skills.
Knowledge of landscape maintenance and control. Manager shall have the ability to plan, schedule and supervise exterior maintenance plus health and safety standards as well as knowledge regarding contractors obligations.
Oversee utilization review and management processes to optimize resource use while maintaining quality standards in acute and long-term care settings.
Manager shall have knowledge of relevant codes, laws and ordinances; acquire and maintain current state condominium laws, fire and health codes, workmans compensation laws, and local ordinances. Shall have knowledge of Directors and Officers (D&O) liability, as well as the ability to work with the Associations legal counsel.
Knowledge of the statutory requirements, and Association board policies regarding liens and forecloses and ability to carry out liens and foreclosure policies.
Manager shall have an ability to deal with complains objectively and consistently; knowledge of rule enforcement methods; and ability to communicate rules and to provide documentation of due process.

Experience

CAM license.
Strong background in critical thinking.
Demonstrated proficiency using Quickbooks.
Knowledge of HR procedures.
Supervisory experience in working with office staff and maintance employees.
Experience working with a Cooperative Board or similar facilities.
Minimum of 2 years experience.
