Full Job Description

Job Summary
We specialize in catering for weddings and are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the owner. The ideal candidate will possess strong planning skills and be adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can maintain professionalism while handling brides, wedding coordinators, guests, and waitstaff. Most of our events are on the Weekends and very few on the weekdays!

THIS IS CURRENTLY NOT A FULL-TIME POSITION AND IS IDEAL FOR SOMEONE WITH AN OPEN SCHEDULE & WEEKEND AVAILABILITY.

**HIGHER PAY FOR EVENTS HANDLED ALONE WITH A WAITSTAFF**

Responsibilities

Managing events, including driving to ALL events, managing waitstaff on location, and creating timelines for events and staff.
Assist with day of event planning and coordination for weddings and other events.
Serve as the first point of contact during events, greeting visitors and managing inquiries.
Assist with setting up buffet lines, plate rentals, and minor decor.
Help kitchen staff/waitstaff plate hors d'oeuvres and/or salads.
Some events may require driving a cargo van to events.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo vans.
Make sure all equipment is loaded, unloaded, and packed efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative support role.
Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software tools.
Excellent calendar management skills with an eye for detail in scheduling conflicts.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Must Have a Valid Driver’s License and a Reliable Vehicle. Gas reimbursement is provided for most events.
