Job Summary

Your expertise will help deliver exceptional dining experiences by adhering to recipes, safety standards, and cleanliness protocols. Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders
Keep workstations clean, organized, and sanitized throughout shifts to meet safety standards in production

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques including slicing, knife skills, and recipe adherence
Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel
Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments
Experience in meal preparation, food handling, and catering is highly desirable
