Kitchen Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 per year, based on experience

Overview

We are seeking an engaged, knowledgeable, and hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply invested in the success of the kitchen, committed to developing their team, and passionate about delivering a consistent, high-quality guest experience.

The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and understands that great kitchens are built through training, communication, and daily presence on the line.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all back-of-house operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
Be actively present in the kitchen—supporting the team during service and setting the standard
Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff on techniques, systems, and expectations
Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and sanitation
Manage ordering, inventory, and cost controls to meet business goals
Foster clear, consistent communication between BOH and FOH teams
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Build a strong, accountable, and positive kitchen culture

Qualifications

2+ years of kitchen management or leadership experience
Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of kitchen operations
Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop team members
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
Highly organized with a focus on execution and follow-through
Willingness to be hands-on and fully engaged in day-to-day operations
Passion for hospitality and creating a great guest experience through food
