We are searching for two new Customer Relations Associates to our Boulder office!

About the position:

Our mission is to create a personal and inspiring experience for every customer and to set the standard for Customer Relations in the outdoor industry. As part of the team, you will help create a positive, solution-oriented, and customer-obsessed environment, while sharing your passion for the outdoors and your knowledge of Norrøna with customers around the world.

You will engage with customers across the full Norrøna offering, from products and gear to adventure tours and destinations. This is a unique opportunity to gain broad experience in customer engagement and collaborate with teams across the business.

We are currently recruiting for two positions within our Customer Relations team in the US: a full-time position (100%) starting as soon as possible and a temporary part-time position (20%) starting in October and running until end of March/mid-April 2027.

Both positions will be connected to our Norrøna store in Boulder, Colorado, with an office space alongside our retail, wholesale, and local Customer Relations colleagues. You will be part of the local team while also becoming part of the wider Norrøna team.

The 20% temporary position includes a fixed Sunday shift from 12:00–4:00 PM MST, as well as one additional four-hour shift per week, to be agreed upon during the interview process. The Sunday shift is particularly important in helping us provide our US customers with stronger local-time support and an even better customer experience.

Main areas of responsibilities:

Interact with customers in a personal, efficient, and inspirational way according to agreed experience principles and KPIs (quality, time, and satisfaction)
Know the Norrøna product offer at a very good level in terms of technical and functional features, and communicate this knowledge in a customer-oriented language across chat, email, and phone
Effective internal communication, support and coordination with repair and external service centers, finance controllers, sales coordinators, supply chain coordinators, warehouse/logistics staff, and accounting personnel to make sure we all work for our customers to provide the best experiences possible
Proactively suggest routine improvements in daily operations of the team
Proactively report to the leader on critical information from customers and markets that can our customers and improve Norrøna’s business and risk mgt

We believe you’ll succeed in this job if you have:

Proven track record of multitasking in several communication channels at the same time (chat, phone, email, etc.)
Storytelling communication skills, not only sharing information
Very good knowledge of products from the outdoor industry
Experience in retail industry is a plus
You have a genuine interest in the outdoors and is an active person that enjoys being out in nature

Qualifications:

2+ years experience in customer service/relations or retail environment (direct to customer)
English native (other languages are a plus)
