Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your skills directly impact product quality and operational success.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor various industrial machines including CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy in accordance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues with industrial equipment promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures, using personal protective equipment, and ensuring machinery is operated within safety guidelines.
Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and assist with tooling adjustments or replacements as needed.
Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks and packaging processes to meet production targets efficiently.
Use shop math skills for calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machine settings.
Document production activities accurately and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

Experience

Proven experience operating CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming tools; familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with mechanical blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for fabrication or assembly purposes.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes including stamping, fabrication, packaging, and assembly line operations.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes.
Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting and basic factory maintenance procedures.
Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with a focus on safety standards in production settings.
Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred) for material handling within the facility.
Basic understanding of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks is a plus for interpreting design specifications.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with shop math skills to support accurate machine setup and operation.
