Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team.The current position will perform a wide variety of clerical duties, including date entry in support of our technicians in the field to generate billable invoices. You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet performance and quality assurance benchmarks while delivering exceptional customer service as needed.

Responsibilities include:

Effectively prepare deposits and general ledger posting
Accurately update and import daily labor for multiple employees
Accurately process and verify receivable invoices
Prepare and maintain accurate accounting documents and records
Maintains organized records and files for accounting documents
Performs basic Excel tasks such as sorting, filtering, and formatting data

· Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion

· Monitoring and following up with accounts receivable on outstanding balance

Assists with gathering information for month-end close and reporting
Performs other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager

Job Requirement:

Associate degree in accounting preferred
Must be able to type over 50 words per minute
Must always maintain confidentiality
Knowledge and practical experience beyond basic bookkeeping
Knowledge and practical experience regarding basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, 365, and Teams
Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations
Ability to handle multiple-lined phone system for several staff members
Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
Strong verbal and written communications
Able to handle the urgency of each task, and work in a high-stress position
High moral character and good attendance record.
Accurate and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
Polite, courteous, and tactful with the public

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
