Full Job Description

Seeking a part-time Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer for a busy accounting/tax office serving multiple clients. Work will include:

Processing all A/R and A/P monthly transactions
Making vendor payments electronically
Preparing monthly bank reconciliations
Filing as needed
Preparing weekly bank deposits
Working closely with accountant on budgeting, audit and other projects
Assist in preparing of 1099s and Quarterly Payroll Reports for clients
Helping with tax information entry for individual and corporate tax returns
Special projects as required

Qualifications

College or Associates degree and a minimum of 2 years of work experience
Must be proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail

Salary and Benefits

Salary for the part-time bookkeeper will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Work schedule is flexible, but will require 20-25 hours per week. PTO offered.

Position posted May 18, 2023; projected start date June 1, 2024; however, the position will remain open until successfully filled. Nothing in the job posting or description should be construed as an offer or guarantee of employment. A background check is required.
