Full Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse/Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials while maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of handling warehouse duties, and committed to accuracy, teamwork, and meeting productivity goals. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in keeping operations running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.

Operates all types of material handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklift as appropriate for particular materials to be moved.
Drive forklift in order to pick up incoming stock or to deliver supplies to designated locations and follows all safety rules for forklift operations.
Receive and count items and record data manually or using a computer.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse areas.
Issue or deliver materials, products, parts and supplies to internal customers based on information from incoming requisitions.
Examine and inspect items for damage or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor.
Prepare and process customer outbound shipping using carrier manifest systems.
Arrange return of items to vendors or if directed, dispose of damaged or defective items.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts or stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and work areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations and departmental standards.
Uses tools such as hammers and crowbars to remove strapping, open crates, strap cars.
Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas. Cleans up and disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and places in proper containers or designated areas.
Must be able to lift at least 15lbs.
Other duties as assigned.
