Full Job Description

Kansas Fencing, LLC is a leading fencing contractor serving residential, commercial, industrial, and government clients throughout Kansas. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Office Assistant to join our growing team.

This full-time, in-office position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, and keeping daily office operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, schedule appointments for our sales team, answer incoming calls, assist walk-in customers, and help maintain organized business records.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers, vendors, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls.
Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars for the sales team.
Respond to customer inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate department.
Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy.
Assist with bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks.
Process invoices, receipts, and other administrative documentation.
Maintain accurate customer records and company databases.
Order and maintain office supplies as needed.
Support management with various administrative projects and day-to-day office operations.
Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and company information.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous office administration or administrative assistant experience preferred.
Bookkeeping or accounting experience is preferred.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Preferred Skills

Experience using HubSpot CRM
Proficiency with QuickBooks
Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
General computer proficiency and accurate data entry
Previous experience working in the construction or contracting industry is a plus

Compensation

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
