Join Our Team as a Customer Support Specialist and Make a Difference in Healthcare Support!

Are you a patient, friendly, and dependable individual with a knack for providing outstanding customer service? If so, the Customer Support Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare technology and public service. In this vital position, you will support a statewide immunization information system, assist healthcare providers, schools, and the public, and contribute to ensuring healthcare data privacy and accuracy. Your daily interactions will involve resolving user questions, processing immunization record requests, and supporting account management—making a tangible impact on community health initiatives.

Required Skills:

At least 1 year of experience in customer service, administrative support, or technical user support
Strong communication skills, capable of clearly explaining policies and procedures
Comfortable with email, web applications, electronic records, and basic computer technology
High attention to detail, especially when reviewing forms and documentation
Ability to follow confidentiality and security procedures diligently

Nice to Have Skills:

Exposure to healthcare records, PHI, HIPAA, or similar sensitive information handling
Experience with account or access administration in a user-focused system
Background in medical office administration, patient access, or records processing
Familiarity with health information management or healthcare support roles

Preferred Education and Experience:

Minimum of one year in customer service, office, or system support roles
Prior experience reviewing forms, handling confidential records, or performing records processing is advantageous

Other Requirements:

Fully onsite role in Topeka, KS, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Reliable transportation to downtown Topeka

Salary Range: $22–$24 per hour
