Are you an experienced probate and/or trust & estates attorney who would like the opportunity to work flexible hours each week while maintaining the sophistication of your current solo practice? If so, we have a unique opportunity for you to work with a modern estate settlement company. The best candidates will be solo practitioners who are licensed in Kansas, have 5+ years of experience handling probate administration proceedings and will have knowledge of local/jurisdictional rules governing the probate process. This is a fully remote and contract position.
Requirements for the Kansas Probate Attorney (Contract and Fully Remote):

Experience completing probate forms and supplemental court filings, including but not limited to Inventory and Appraisal, Accounting, and Final Distribution documents

Position Details of the Kansas Probate Attorney (Contract and Fully Remote):

Schedule: Part-time (likely 5 to 15 hours per month)

Compensation:
Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $150,000 to $210,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits: Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
