Full Job Description

P1 Technologies is an established technology solutions provider and Value-Added Reseller (VAR) serving businesses for more than 17 years. We help our customers design, procure, and deploy enterprise technology solutions from leading manufacturers.

We are a collaborative, team-oriented organization where every employee plays an important role in our success. We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Operations Coordinator to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Manhattan Beach, California. This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday.

The Accounting & Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day financial and operational activities of P1 Technologies. This position manages accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, customer and vendor order processing, quoting support, and general office administration. Working closely with the CFO, Operations Team Lead, sales team, customers, and suppliers, this role helps ensure accurate financial records, efficient order fulfillment, and outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are exactly alike. This person takes ownership of their work, communicates effectively with customers and vendors, and is comfortable balancing accounting responsibilities with operational support. This role is central to the success of our business, ensuring the smooth flow of customer orders, vendor purchasing, financial transactions, and day-to-day operations. We provide training on our internal processes, products, and vendor systems. Prior technology industry experience is not required.

Responsibilities:

Accounting

Process customer purchase orders, create invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and assist with collections.
Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, accounts payable, accruals, and payment reporting.
Record daily banking transactions and reconcile financial activity.
Perform general bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
Communicate with customers and vendors regarding order status, invoices, and account inquiries.

Operations

Prepare customer quotes, process customer orders, and ensure accurate order documentation.
Obtain vendor pricing, prepare purchase orders, and coordinate vendor order processing.
Maintain customer maintenance renewal schedules and reporting.
Maintain accurate customer, vendor, and financial records across company systems.
Support the sales team with product costing, quoting, order administration, and other operational activities.
Support general office administration and other operational projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Two or more years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, operations, or a related business support role.
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop (required).
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with Salesforce and/or QuoteWerks is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
High degree of accuracy, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential financial information.

Hourly Pay Range:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an hourly pay range of $25.00–$35.00, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
