Duties

Follow established recipes and menu guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, garnishing, and assembling ingredients efficiently
Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout all kitchen activities
Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials to enhance the dining experience
Manage food handling procedures carefully to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations
Support the team during busy hours by serving guests promptly and courteously, contributing to a positive dining atmosphere

Requirements

Proven experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments with a focus on Italian cuisine or pizza preparation
Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling techniques essential for efficient meal prep
Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for understanding special dietary needs
Experience with food safety protocols, meal preparation, and catering services preferred
Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
