Full Job Description

Cerna Healthcare is dedicated to providing top-quality senior care services that are bonded and insured. We specialize in a range of needs, including mobility issues, dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, and general aging. Our mission is to ensure that all clients receive specialized care tailored to their unique requirements.

We are seeking experienced, reliable caregivers to support multiple clients across South Bay Area. These roles offer a mix of schedules and care needs, ideal for caregivers looking to build consistent hours while working with different types of clients.

Location: Long Beach Area (Long Beach, Lakewood, Los Alamitos, Redondo Beach)
Schedule: Flexible Day Shifts (Morning & Midday Availability Required) 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 9:00AM to 12:00PM
Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Provide mobility assistance, including walker support, transfers, ambulation, and fall prevention.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.
Provide medication reminders in accordance with the care plan.
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment.
Run errands and provide transportation to medical appointments and community activities.
Support clients using effective redirection techniques and positive reinforcement.
Communicate concerns and significant changes to the care team and family members as appropriate.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow all company policies and care plans.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent;
Have a valid Home Care Aide (HCA) ID (Required)
Must pass a background check and TB test (Required)
Driving license and reliable transportation (Required)
Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting or transferring patients safely.
