Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Server to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they walk in. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as OPUS POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Process cash and card transactions accurately while handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained in accordance with health regulations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine or spirits pairings to assist guests effectively
Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to foster a welcoming atmosphere
Support opening or closing procedures as needed, including setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and restocking supplies

Requirements

Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques
Ability to process sales transactions accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities
Basic math skills for bill calculation and change processing
Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred
Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
A friendly attitude with a passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Speaking Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Khmer is a +.
