**Job Type:** Full-time, In office.

**Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Internal Medicine Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical office. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with a proactive approach, demonstrating strong management skills while having a solid understanding of the various roles within a medical office, including receptionists and medical assistants.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage the daily operations of the internal medicine office to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care.

- Supervise office staff, including receptionists and medical assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.

- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and improve patient experience.

- Oversee scheduling of patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of physician time and resources.

- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

- Coordinate with insurance companies for authorizations and billing processes.

- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.

- Prepare and analyze reports related to office performance, patient volume, and financial metrics.

- Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating office staff to ensure a high-performing team.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office setting, with at least 1 year in a management role.

- Strong understanding of medical office operations and the roles of various staff members (receptionists, medical assistants, etc.).

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficient in medical office software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions proactively.
