Salon Coordinator & Operations Manager

Freshly renovated and more beautiful than ever, Wisper Hair Salon is opening the doors to our stunning new location next to Dave & Buster’s in the Freehold Raceway Mall. We’re looking for an organized, energetic, and customer-focused Salon Coordinator & Operations Manager who wants to become an essential part of our growing team.
This isn’t just a front desk position—we’re looking for someone who will become the owner’s right hand, helping manage the daily operations of the salon while creating an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Assist the owner with the day-to-day management and operations of the salon.
- Welcome clients and create a warm, luxury salon experience from check-in to checkout.
- Schedule appointments, answer phones, respond to emails, and manage online bookings.
- Coordinate with stylists to keep schedules running smoothly and efficiently.
- Process client checkouts, rebook future appointments, and recommend retail products and salon services.
- Monitor and organize retail inventory and color orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.
- Support the salon team with daily tasks such as preparing foils, folding towels, laundry, and sweeping when needed.
- Help manage the salon’s social media and online presence (a huge plus!).
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Strong computer, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively.
- Previous salon front desk, salon coordinator, or beauty industry experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right person with the right personality and drive.
- Experience with social media, marketing, and online engagement is highly valued and may lead to additional compensation opportunities.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
