Now Hiring: Part-time and Full-time Bakers – Join Our Gluten-Free, Vegan Baking Dream Team!

Are you a wizard with a whisk? A dough-slinging, frosting-loving, early-rising kitchen hero? Do you dream in layers of cake and perfectly golden pastries—without the gluten, dairy, or eggs? Well, do we have the job for you!

We’re Third Coast Bakery, Northern Michigan’s ONLY gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, vegan bakery & coffeehouse, and we need a rockstar baker to keep our ovens—and customers—happy!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and desserts, following our tried-and-true recipes and techniques.
Keeping up with daily production demands while maintaining our high-quality standards.
Collaborating with the team to innovate and improve recipes—because creativity is at the heart of what we do!
Keeping the kitchen clean and organized, following food safety and sanitation standards.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a baker in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting.
Strong understanding of baking techniques and ingredient functionality (especially when working with gluten-free, plant-based ingredients).
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
A team player with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for baking.
A love for the food allergy and plant-based community, with a desire to make inclusive treats that everyone can enjoy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
