Full Job Description

OVERVIEW

The Order Fulfillment Supervisor is the first line supervisor of pick line workers. This role’s primary responsibility will be overseeing the safe, accurate, and timely fulfillment of orders.

Shift time is 7:45AM - 5:45PM with flexibility to work overtime (OT) as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads the Order Fulfillment activities for their assigned area and cross trained to assist all pick lines when coverage is needed.
Manages the storage, picking and shipping of all inventories related to the ecommerce and b2b orders.
Communicates and models job responsibilities, performance expectations, and the values of the company.
Assign, train and supervise pickers, packers and scanners on the work assignments designated for the day.
Read and disseminate information on the product specifications and packaging requirements.
Continuous monitoring of the lines to ensure efficiency and accuracy of work orders.
Assist and complete scanning, data entry, batch collecting, replenishments, and all other work duties as needed
Maintains uninterrupted flow of work through coordination with other Order Fulfillment Leads and Supervisor to maintain efficiency as per our SLAs.
Communicates with Department Manager for any damages or inventory discrepancies as soon as they arise.
Ensure all daily reporting is completed as needed.
Assist in enforcing all safety rules & regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Engage and be Involved In Operational Excellence (OE) and process improvement activities in efforts to make processes more efficient and simplify practices in meeting the culture of "Working Smarter, Not Harder" philosophy.
Communicate clear expectations to personnel and keep them informed of matters pertaining to the job.
Enforce and adhere all Company policies and procedures.
Assists Supervisor as needed.
Other duties as assigned as necessary.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Previous experience in a lead position within a 3PL environment
Experience working with both e-commerce and retail order fulfillment
Strong communication skills. Must read, write, and speak English. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
Must have reliable transportation and flexibility to work OT as needed which may include early mornings and/or weekends during peak times
Basic math and computer skills required including Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook and Excel)
Ability to learn quickly and a willingness to ask appropriate questions as needed
Lifting up to 50 pounds frequently is required
Strong organization skills and multi-tasking capabilities
Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times
The ability to create and maintain positive relationships

PREFERRED SKILLS

Background working with Health and Beauty products (Lot codes/Batch codes)

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. This position may require long hours and some weekend work as necessary to meet the business obligations. Our peak season runs from September through December, during which full staff attendance and scheduling flexibility are critical to meeting client demands. All employees must be flexible to work the weekend after Thanksgiving.

This role also requires the ability to lift items, bend, or stand as necessary.

The environmental characteristic for this position is a warehouse/manufacturing setting. Candidates should be able to life and carry up to 50 lbs. and comply with OSHA standards.
