Who We Are

KindMind Behavioral Health is an outpatient mental health therapy and psychiatry practice in Rochester and Clarkston, Michigan treating patients struggling with a wide variety of mental health concerns. Our mission is to alleviate the mental health epidemic by bringing greater mental healthcare access to a community that is so critically underserved. We are committed to our patients and are dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality, and professional outpatient therapy and psychiatry that is centered upon our patients’ needs.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a fully licensed social worker as the Clinical Director of Therapy in our Rochester office. The responsibilities of the Clinical Director include:

Interviewing and Training
Staff Management and HR
Supervision and Consultation
Policies and Procedures Management
KPI Target Accountability
Clinical and Administrative Oversight/Support
Documentation Reviewing
Community Outreach/Marketing
Organizational Leadership
Client Satisfaction Management
Direct Client Care

The Clinical Director will be supported by the CEO in executing these functions.

Qualifications

1. Master’s degree in social work from an accredited college or university.

2. Fully licensed social worker in the state of Michigan.

3. Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.

Skills & Experience

Ideal applicants should have an understanding of outpatient therapy services, community resources, and knowledge of adequate behavioral health documentation.
Prior experience in managing a team of staff in a leadership role.
Proficient diagnostic capabilities and experience in developing and completing treatment plans.
Able to manage a team of professionals and capable of exhibiting excellent people management (human resource) skills in building a successful team and strong practice culture.
Proficient with standard clinic technology (email, phone, computer) and the ability to learn and use an Electronic Health Records system.
Ability to review, critique, and approve, detailed, clear, and organized patient notes and other required documentation.
Ability to teach and uphold company policies and procedures.
Experience in clinical supervision (preferred)
Highly effective interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
Willingness to welcome training and feedback to learn to work autonomously.
Effective written and verbal communication skills + time management and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt in an evolving work environment and accept additional responsibility as needed.
Ability to exercise professional judgement.
