Full Job Description

An established Property Management Company is seeking an experienced and motivated Property Manager to lead operations at our premier apartment community in Waterford, MI. We are looking for a dynamic professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident experiences, maintaining high community standards, and leading a successful on-site team.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven property management experience, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to effectively oversee daily operations while fostering a positive and professional community environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drive resident satisfaction through exceptional customer service, resident retention, and community engagement
Oversee all day-to-day property operations to ensure efficient and successful community performance
Maintain and enhance the physical appearance, curb appeal, and overall condition of the property
Monitor operating expenses, rental rates, budgets, and cost controls to maximize property performance
Manage purchase orders, invoice approvals, and accurate financial record entry
Supervise, train, and develop on-site staff to maintain a high-performing team culture
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of service requests and preventative maintenance initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of apartment management experience OR 5 years of property management experience required
Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities
Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining community standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software platforms
Experience with AppFolio software preferred, but not required
