True Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager with a strong accounting background and 10-15 plus years of progressive finance and accounting experience to partner closely with the CFO in leading the finance and accounting function. This role requires a seasoned finance professional with deep corporate accounting and financial planning and analysis (FP &A) knowledge, strong presentation skills, and the ability to summarize financial data, projections, and forecasting for principal leadership to support informed business decisions. The role will also manage, support, and oversee accounting teams across functional areas while developing team members and strengthening the department capabilities. The role will also support corporate budget set-up and implementation, financial analysis across multiple global sales office locations, and reporting for multiple manufacturing sites while contributing to a multi-year ERP implementation and broader finance transformation initiatives.
Support the CFO in overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, applying strong corporate accounting expertise, and serve as an additional resource for the principal to seek financial information.
Partner to assist in managing the organization’s budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, tax reporting, and corporate budget set-up and implementation.
Ensure accurate, timely, and concise financial reporting that presents data, projections, and forecasts to support high-level strategic planning and financial business decisions for ownership.
Partner to support continued ERP implementation.
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable presentations and executive-level summaries for Executive Leadership.
Manage finance process improvement and transformation initiatives, including development and implementation of new budget, forecasting, and general ledger processes aligned with the organization’s mission.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to support budgetary alignment across multiple global sales office locations, four manufacturing sites in Missouri, and one manufacturing site in Monterrey, Mexico.
Analyze financial performance across domestic and international operations, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Monitor various economic scenarios along with business changes to manage cash flow and risks to make business recommendations that optimize cash flow.
Manage the treasury function, including daily cash management, cash forecasting, and cash flow and liquidity planning.
Manage banking relationships and line of credit utilization, including draws, paydowns, availability, covenant awareness, and capital financing support.
Support review and report on the company’s investment portfolio, and coordinate with the outside investment advisors as needed.
Analyze manufacturing cost drivers, inventory valuation, standard costing, margin variance, and working capital, and support product and customer profitability analysis.
Develop KPI’s and reporting tools to support financial analysis across the business.
Manage, support, and oversee various accounting groups, providing leadership, coaching, and development to build team capability, improve performance, and ensure consistent execution of accounting responsibilities.
Support and help strengthen internal controls.
Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners to ensure timely, accurate, and effective communication, reporting, and issue resolution.
Leverage automation, AI-enabled tools, and data validation processes to drive efficiency gains across accounting functions, improve accuracy checks, and reduce manual reporting and reconciliation efforts.
Lead continuous improvement efforts to strengthen forecasting accuracy, inventory-intensive manufacturing analysis, and management reporting processes that support informed operational nd strategic decision-making.
The Senior Finance Manager has an office-based role. Regular, predictable on-site attendance is required. Eligibility for up to one (1) remote workday per week may be permitted, subject to business needs and departmental guidelines.
