Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant (On Site) to join our dynamic HR team. In this vital role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the human resources department, ensuring smooth personnel administration, compliance, and employee engagement. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive workplace environment, streamline HR processes, and contribute to strategic workforce initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise while making a meaningful impact on our organization’s success.

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

Coordinate recruitment activities for assigned positions from application through offer.
Review resumes, conduct initial candidate screenings, and schedule interviews.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure an efficient hiring process.
Maintain applicant tracking system records and recruiting metrics.
Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and talent attraction initiatives.
Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment activities.

OnboardingOffboarding

Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding documentation.
Arrange equipment requests and employee building/security access.
Manage onboarding and offboarding checklists to ensure a smooth transition.

Employee BenefitsHR Support

Assist employees with benefit enrollments, qualifying life events, and Open Enrollment.
Support leave administration by directing employees to the appropriate resources.

Employee Engagement & Culture

Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Coordinate employee recognition programs, milestone celebrations, and appreciation events.
Help create engaging employee communications that foster a positive workplace environment.

Security & Facility Coordination

Coordinate employee building access, security credentials, and company property assignments.
Activate and deactivate building access for new hires and departing employees.

HR Administration

Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
Support policy administration and employee communications.
Participate in HR process improvement initiatives and special projects.
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.

What You'll Bring

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of Human Resources experience required.
Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, or benefits coordination preferred.
Experience with an HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.
