Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for new patient inquiries, coordinate intake processes, and ensure seamless communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies. Your proactive approach will help us deliver timely, high-quality care while maintaining compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and healthcare providers with enthusiasm, gathering essential information for new patient intake
Verify insurance coverage and assist with health insurance documentation to facilitate smooth billing processes
Collect and review medical history, ensuring accuracy and completeness using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Coordinate appointment scheduling and follow-up communications to optimize patient care flow
Maintain compliance with health regulation policies and confidentiality standards at all times
Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and updating patient records in EMR/EHR systems
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date

Skills

Proven experience in medical office settings or healthcare administrative support
Strong knowledge of health regulation policies and compliance standards
Familiarity with medical terminology and medical administrative procedures
Experience managing Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems effectively
Knowledge of health insurance processes, including verification and billing procedures
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
