Full Job Description

AM Prep Cook (Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm week days and weekends

Dopo Pizza + Pasta is looking for an AM prep cook! We’re not looking for just another warm body behind the line. We’re building a crew that loves the heat, respects the hustle, and gives a damn about great food. We're looking for experienced Prep Cooks focused on pizza dough production. You will set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes. You will undertake basic cooking duties, such as reducing sauces, rolling/ making pizza dough and pasta production. You communicate clearly and professionally with your supervisor about workload, ingredient needs, recipes, and procedures. You adhere to recipes as they are written. The prep cook is also responsible for keeping the kitchen organized and running smoothly according to DOPO standard operating procedures. Duties may change in accordance with seasonal menu changes.

What you have:

At least 2 years of proven experience in food preparation and cooking, particularly in a restaurant setting.
Pizza experience preferred.
Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling and safety protocols.
Familiarity with pizza preparation and cooking techniques.
Background in the food industry, with culinary experience preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
