In the Emergency Department, the Nurse Director Emergency Room will lead an integrated ER and Fast Track environment featuring 30+ beds, a designated stroke center, new MRI technology, 24-hour OB coverage in the ED, and a full RN staff, ensuring rapid triage, efficient throughput, and exceptional outcomes for a diverse patient population.

The Nursing Director Emergency Department will report to senior nursing leadership (CNO/VP Patient Care Services) with robust support from assistant nurse managers, clinical educators, quality/throughput coordinators, and dedicated interdisciplinary partners in pharmacy, case management, social work, and respiratory therapy, all within a welcoming culture of friendly nurses and a diverse team of professionals.

As the ER RN Director, key responsibilities will include strategic planning, staffing optimization, budget stewardship, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, stroke and sepsis program performance, EMS collaboration, disaster preparedness, and continuous process improvement using real-time metrics to sustain top-tier access, safety, and experience.
