The Royal Automotive Group has a wide array of Technician/Mechanic roles available within our multiple Tucson locations. The position for which you are applying includes entry-level through advanced master certified roles. We base our hiring decisions on each specific applicant's skill set, personality, and where a candidate will fit best. The Technician/Mechanic is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager, Team Leader, or Assistant Service Manager. In addition, the Service Technician may be assigned to conduct pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure excellent working order upon delivery to the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Works alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs.
Assists assigned technician as needed.
Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed.
Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Attends departmental meetings and manufacturer-sponsored training classes which may require travel and overnight stays.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to perform the physical duties associated with this position
High school diploma or GED
Post high school tech school or ASE certification desired
Must have an impressive work-ethic
Neat, clean, and professional appearance
Must have an unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to operate a standard-transmission vehicle
