Full Job Description

Innovative Injury Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Tucson team. This position is ideal for an RN with strong IV skills and experience in pain management, procedural care, pre-op, and PACU settings.

Position Summary

The RN will provide high-quality patient care throughout the procedural process, including pre-operative assessments, IV placement, patient monitoring, recovery care, and discharge education. This role works closely with providers to ensure a safe and efficient patient experience in an outpatient pain management setting.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-operative assessments and patient education
Start IVs confidently and efficiently
Monitor patients before and after procedures
Provide PACU and recovery room care
Assist providers during procedure days as needed
Document accurately in the EMR
Provide discharge instructions and follow-up guidance
Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Current Arizona RN license in good standing
Strong IV insertion skills required
Previous pain management, surgery center, procedural, PACU, ER, or critical care experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
ACLS preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

Part-time position
Currently scheduled every other Tuesday
Opportunity to transition to every Tuesday as our Tucson location continues to grow
Procedure-day focused schedule

Compensation

Competitive pay based on experience
