Job Overview

Whelcon Contractors LLC is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager (QCM) to lead our quality assurance efforts across construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of quality control and inspection, ensuring that construction standards are met or exceeded at every stage. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement, uphold safety and compliance, and guarantee that project deliverables align with client specifications and contractual obligations. Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans tailored to each construction project, aligning with industry standards and client requirements
Conduct thorough construction inspections to verify adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and contractual commitments
Lead quality inspections throughout all phases of construction, from foundation to finishing, identifying issues early and implementing corrective actions
Collect, analyze, and document data related to quality metrics, inspection results, and non-conformance reports to inform decision-making
Collaborate closely with construction management teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into daily operations and project schedules
Review contracts and technical documents to confirm scope compliance and identify potential quality risks
Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, corrective actions, and compliance documentation for audit readiness

Experience

Proven experience in construction site management with a strong focus on quality control and inspection processes
Demonstrated knowledge of construction management practices, including contract review and project coordination
Hands-on experience conducting construction inspections across various phases of building projects
Strong analysis skills to interpret inspection data, identify root causes of issues, and develop effective solutions
Familiarity with data collection tools and quality management software used in the construction industry
Ability to communicate clearly with diverse teams including contractors, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
Prior experience in construction site safety protocols and adherence to relevant codes and standards
