Full Job Description

Line Cook – Food Truck Program

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and quality-driven Line Cook to join our Food Truck Program. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-output kitchen environment, takes pride in scratch cooking, and values execution, consistency, and accountability.

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for food preparation, station setup, service execution, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the food truck. You will work directly under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, executing menus, recipes, and service standards as designed. Each member of the kitchen team plays a critical role in delivering consistent, well-executed food through disciplined prep, strong communication, and attention to detail.

We provide the tools, systems, and training needed to succeed. Cross-training across stations may be available as skills and performance develop. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, quality-focused, receptive to coaching, and comfortable working in a compact, fast-moving kitchen environment.

This position reports to the Executive Chef. Immediate availability is preferred. Must be 21+ and available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Execute menu items according to chef-driven recipes and standards
Complete prep tasks efficiently and accurately
Set up, operate, and break down food truck stations
Maintain consistency, quality, and proper portioning during service
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Communicate clearly and professionally with the chef team and fellow cooks
Maintain a clean, organized, and disciplined kitchen environment

Additional Requirements

Some teammates may be required to operate and drive the food truck
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for those assigned driving responsibilities
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment and product as needed
Food safety certificate

About Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co.

Mighty Squirrel was founded in 2015 by friends and homebrewers Naveen Pawar and Henry Manice. Since then, we’ve expanded the distribution of our beers across Massachusetts through our partner, Atlantic Beverage.

In December 2018, we opened our first brick-and-mortar brewery and taproom in Waltham, where guests can experience the full brewing process from start to finish.
