Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee our dining operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires effective leadership, team management skills, and a passion for culinary excellence.

Duties

Manage daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain consistency and uphold safety standards.
Utilize POS systems for efficient cash handling and order processing.
Conduct inventory control to manage stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure availability of menu items.
Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in food handling, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Assist in budgeting processes to optimize financial performance while maintaining quality standards.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership, and professional growth among staff members.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards throughout all operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management with a strong understanding of the food industry.
Background in hotel dining settings preferred; and is also beneficial.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production techniques and catering services.
Previous supervisory experience is essential; ability to lead by example and motivate team members effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences through attentive service.
Familiarity with budget management, inventory control, and cost reduction strategies within the food service sector.
Ability to train staff effectively in areas such as cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
