Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Banquet Setup Associate, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable events for our guests. In this lively role, you will be responsible for preparing banquet spaces to ensure they are inviting, organized, and ready for a variety of events. Your positive attitude and dedication will contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting the overall success of our hospitality operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, event preparation, and guest relations within a vibrant hospitality environment.

Duties

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and tableware with precision and care
Ensure all food service areas are clean, organized, and ready for service by assisting with food handling and food preparation tasks as needed
Assist with bussing tables during events to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests
Support catering operations by helping with food setup, presentation, and replenishment throughout events
Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely and efficient event execution
Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
Break down banquet spaces after events, ensuring proper storage of equipment and cleanliness of the venue

Skills

Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable
Knowledge of banquet setup procedures and catering operations preferred
Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with culinary staff and event coordinators
Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is a plus, especially those involving food service or coffee experience
