Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk. We are a paperless company and applicants should be interested in learning how to use new programs and software. Training will be provided on all of our systems. Great Plains and/or Concur experience is a plus!

Responsibilities are varied and include, but are not limited, to the following:

Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
Record, code, and process invoices into AP system with timeliness and accuracy
Analyze expenses by vendor on monthly basis and work with AP clerks at various facilities
Process check/wire requests and ensure appropriate approvals have been obtained
Research duplicate payments, discrepancies and unapplied payments
Communicate and maintain vendor accounts, including research, resolution, and statement reconciliation
Assist with year-end filings (1099, 571-L, compliance reporting, and etc.)
Process wires/ACHs and checks on a daily basis and assist in reconciling cleared payments in bank statements
Complete weekly check runs
Responding and managing the company's AP Email Inbox
Review and process employee expense reimbursement requests
Monitor and reconcile credit card transactions and expense reports
Proactively follow up on missing receipts, late submissions, incomplete or incorrect reports
Train team members on proper expense submission and use of Concur
Maintain expense policies, new users, expense types and approval hierarchies

Job Requirements:

Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to prioritize, multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
Problem solver & high attention to detail such as reviewing invoice expense items
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organization and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to multitask and work independently
2+ years of experience, expense reports experience.
