Commercial Roofing Estimator | Project One Roofing | In-Office/Remote/Hybrid (US)

Strong Base Salary + Commission · W-2 or 1099 · In-Office/Remote/Hybrid · Health Benefits · Company Trip · Performance Bonuses · Experience Required

If you can look at a set of plans and know within minutes whether it's a job worth chasing — we want to talk to you. This is a role for someone who's already good at this, not someone learning to be. Must be experienced in new construction and reroof.

Project One® Roofing is a residential and commercial roofing company rooted in East Texas, with thousands of installs behind us. We're growing our commercial division and need someone who can sharpen how we identify, evaluate, and win the right opportunities.

You catch what others miss. Detail work isn't a chore for you — it's where you separate good estimates from accurate ones.

You're a good fit, even from a distance. Remote doesn't mean disconnected — we still want someone who's communicative, honest, and easy to work with.

What you'll actually do

✔ Review commercial roofing plans, specs, and bid documents to develop accurate estimates

✔ Identify and qualify bid opportunities — knowing which projects fit our scope and capacity

✔ Run takeoffs and pricing using StackCT, PlanHub, or similar estimating platforms

✔ Coordinate with project managers and sales to ensure estimates align with field realities

✔ Deliver complete, accurate bid packages on deadline — every time

The deal

Open to Remote, US-based (Texas a plus, not required) or Hybrid

Open to 1099 or W2

Competitive, negotiable compensation based on experience

Requirements

▪ Proven experience specifically in commercial roofing estimating — this is not a trainee role

▪ Working knowledge of commercial estimating software — StackCT, PlanHub, or comparable platforms

▪ Strong attention to detail and the discipline to meet deadlines without reminders

▪ Ability to work independently and communicate clearly across a remote team

▪ US-based; Texas-based is a plus but not required

Pay: $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
