Full Job Description

We're seeking a confident, compassionate, and hands-on Clinic Director nurse to lead the daily operations of our Tyler clinic. This role combines leadership, operations, and direct patient care. The Clinic Director is responsible for developing and supporting a high-performing team while ensuring operational excellence and an exceptional patient experience. This leader also remains clinically engaged by assisting with patient care, IV therapy, injections, and other nursing responsibilities as needed. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Description

Leadership Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop clinical and front office staff
Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and provide ongoing coaching
Address performance concerns promptly and professionally
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, clinical protocols, and company policies
Monitor clinic workflows, patient experience, and operational performance
Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care within scope of licensure
Administer IV therapies, injections, immunizations, and prescribed treatments
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
Support providers during procedures and patient visits
Assist with patient education and follow-up care
Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day
Step into clinical support when patient volume or staffing requires

Qualifications

Active Texas RN license required
Previous healthcare leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical skills including IV therapy, injections, and patient assessment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
Passion for developing people and delivering outstanding patient care
