Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Commercial LED Lighting

Pay: $40,000–$60,000 base + uncapped commission on deals you help generate

Location: Remote (Southeast U.S. preferred — we're based in the Southeast and it's our core market — but we'll make exceptions for the right person anywhere in the U.S.)

NetZero USA® is a fast-growing commercial LED lighting manufacturer with a dual go-to-market model few competitors can match: we sell product directly to contractors and electricians, and we sell turnkey lighting installations directly to large facilities — school districts, manufacturing plants, government agencies, and multi-location commercial operations. This isn't small retail or single-location work; our projects are large-scale and often facility-wide. With expanding demand across the Southeast and beyond, we're hiring an SDR to help fuel that growth.

The Opportunity

This is a phone- and email-heavy role, and we want to be upfront about that: your job is to get our sales team in front of qualified decision-makers — you're opening doors, not closing deals. You'll be talking to facility managers, maintenance supervisors, contractors, and electricians all day — real people who want a straightforward conversation, not a script. If you're a natural talker who thinks fast, listens well, and can build rapport in the first 30 seconds of a call, this is your seat.

This role is also a proving ground. Most SDRs who hit their numbers and learn our business move into an Account Manager or Inside Sales role within about a year. We're not looking to keep you in this seat forever — we're looking to find out fast if you're a future closer.

Primary Responsibilities

Make 50–80 outbound calls per day and send 100–110 emails to qualified prospects using ZoomInfo, HubSpot, and Burbio
Hit a quota of 2 qualified appointments per day (10 per week) for our sales team
Research and identify new prospects across contractors, electricians, schools, manufacturing, and government facilities
Maintain accurate, same-day CRM records and manage follow-up campaigns
Collaborate with regional sales managers on lead handoffs and account strategy
Represent the brand professionally on every call and email

What You Bring

0–2 years of professional experience — prior cold-calling, telemarketing, retail, restaurant, or military background all translate well; we'll train you on our sales process
Familiarity with ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, or similar prospecting/CRM tools is a strong plus — if you've used tools like these, you've likely done this kind of work before
Excellent verbal communication — clear, professional, conversational phone presence, with the ability to build rapport quickly with facility managers, maintenance supervisors, and other hands-on, non-corporate decision-makers
A quick-thinking, natural conversationalist — we need someone who can read a person and adapt, not recite a script
Comfortable with high call volume and daily rejection
Goal-oriented and self-motivated; no degree required

Base salary: $40,000–$60,000/year based on experience
Uncapped commission on deals you help generate — with average deal sizes of $50K–$250K and reps selling $1M+ per year, a productive SDR has real, direct earning upside beyond base
